This year has been wonderful. I have photographed so many beautiful couples, beautiful brides and bridesmaids, handsome grooms and groomsmen, gorgeous guests and details…. I’ve been to new and exciting wedding venues and met lots of amazing and talented wedding industry suppliers along the way.
In January I launched Jane Beadnell Photography on this website from my original JB Creatives website. I wanted to showcase the wedding photography, focusing solely on the weddings I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. This year my photography has taken me back to some familiar wedding venues like The Cheerful Chilli in Otley – I love that venue and it’s just on my doorstep, Cracoe Village Hall, Skipton… and I’ve been to some new wedding venues like South Farm down in Hertfordshire for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, Middleton Lodge in Richmond, The Kingscote Barn down in Bristol, a family garden wedding, barns and halls…
I’ve been featured in lots of lovely wedding magazines (and on some occasions more than just one issue too!) which has been very exciting. Wedding Ideas Magazine, Belle Bridal, Yorkshire Living Bride, Your Yorkshire Wedding… and some gorgeous wedding blogs like Rock My Wedding a couples of times, Rock My Family, Wedding Ideas, And So To Wed, The Wedding Community, and so on…. I’ve had the pleasure of working on several photoshoots with lots of wonderful wedding industry suppliers. I very much enjoyed working on the Lavender Field photoshoot down in the Cotswolds with Pam Dunn wedding planner and hair and make-up artist Catherine Elizabeth. The purple lavender was just so dreamy. I always love working with Sarah the florist at Leafy Couture…. I’ve been to several flower school workshops at Leafy Couture to capture all her wonderful students making beautiful flower creations as well as creating inspirational photoshoots for brides to be to, well get inspired by!
Over at JBCHQ (you can see my wedding stationery designs at www.jbcreatives.co.uk) I’ve been busy too making stationery for couples all over the world. This year my wedding invites have been sent to brides to be in Victoria, Australia; Miami, Florida; Paris, France to list a few foreign destinations as well as all over the UK. I feel lucky and honoured that couples around the world have asked me to make their invites. And as of January I will be on Rock My Wedding’s Love Lust List, which is another exciting chapter.
Thank you friends and family for your support and continued support in my business. I especially want to thank Laura for always listening and crafting ideas with me and for all her positivity in all things business, I am ever grateful for your backing, encouragement and words of wisdom… And Dave for putting up with my countless computer technical questions!!
Thank you to all the wonderful brides and grooms and lovely couples who I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this year as well as your kind words and the appreciation for your images. Thanks to all those who chose JB Creatives to make their wedding stationery including Dine and Denton Hall for making me their recommended wedding stationery supplier.
Next year is looking exciting too with weddings in tents, barns, marquees, stately homes, abbey ruins and a French chateau amongst others…
I wish everyone I know a very happy festive time and I hope 2017 is full of loveliness.
