So last year I did a photoshoot to launch some of Bespoke Vintage Castle’s new products, there was lots of lovely wedding suppliers and we all travelled up to Cottingham to Betty’s home for a shoot in the field behind her house. Lucy was one of the three beautiful models on the day… so you can imagine my excitement when a few weeks after the shoot Lucy got in touch to ask if I would photograph her and Paul’s wedding over in France! Erm hang on a minute!! YES! So over I went to Manoir de la Foulquetière, France to photograph their wedding day back in June. What a super stunning day. I love France and all its beautiful buildings and stone work and the wedding venue was as lovely as I could have imagined. Lucy got ready with her bridesmaids in one of the gites and wore an elegant backless wedding gown from Dotty Bridal. Lucy and Paul had an outdoor ceremony by a little lake on the grounds of Manoir de la Foulquetiére. Their friend conducted the lovely, personal ceremony and Paul’s parents had even made the rings. After the ceremony they headed to an orchard garden for drinks and canapés and had a wedding breakfast and the speeches inside. The evening was a real party as the band, The High Jives played outside and guests could dance on the dance floor under the wonderful festoon lighting. It really was a wonderful day. Lucy and Paul are such a lovely couples and made me feel so welcome on their day. I want to thank them for asking me to capture this special day and I hope their wedding photos will bring back memories of their day for decades to come. I wish them all the happiness in the world as Mr & Mrs Taylor.
