This was my first trip to the very beautiful Lartington Hall, a stunning wedding venue at Bernard Castle, Durham. It’s fair to say I instantly fell in love with this wedding venue and all its magnificent details. Lartington Hall has its very own Chapel and the entrance is something of a photographers dream. Shona welcomed us into this amazing wedding venue and made sure we felt at home. All the bedrooms, ballroom, hallway, chapel… the whole place has been restored back to this magnificent building. It really is a wonderful wedding venue. I had the great pleasure of meeting and working with Romina Fochesatto and Alexandra Jane Edgar in Venice for another styled shoot we worked on for Unveiled magazine back in the summer. (You can see that shoot here) Which involved wondering the streets of Venice at dawn. Romina puts so much work, thought and detail into her dresses I just wanted to capture more of them for her. So we set about creating this wedding styled shoot at Lartington Hall to photograph some more of her gorgeous wedding gowns. Romina created 3 wedding dresses for the shoot all having their own distinct look. Alexandra created a beautiful bridal look with both the hair and makeup. The bridal bouquet was by Leafy Couture.
