    Family Photoshoots

I’m a Yorkshire family portrait photographer, I like to capture families as they interact naturally. This is best done on a walk in the fresh air in the countryside, or somewhere pretty.

These family portrait photography sessions includes the following:

    • Travel to your chosen location for your family photography session within a 10 mile radius of LS21
    • 1 hour/30 minute photo session in the outdoors.
    • Additional family members outside of your immediate family can be added for £15 per person.
    • A private, password protected online gallery with all the edited images from the session.

The details to your gallery can be passed to your friends and family so they can see your photos and buy prints.
You can expect 70+/40+ images from the session.

Please budget to buy prints and/or the digital images. The full set of high resolution digital images are £70.

We were overwhelmed with the photos when they arrived and I’m so pleased we have these photos to cherish for years to come.

    What to Wear

Firstly you should wear clothing that you feel comfortable and happy wearing on your family photoshoot. Yorkshire gets cold so layer up in the winter. If you’re comfortable doing so I would suggest wearing light colour clothing to brighten the images. Co-ordinating colours with your family is always pleasing for the finished photographs too. Avoid heavy patterns, clashing patterns, big logos and black clothing as they can be distracting and take the attention away from the family focus. Feel free to bring any accessories ~ hats and teddy bears are always a winner. These photos will be hanging on your walls and treasured for years to come so simple, classic clothing will help give your images a timeless feel.

When will the images be ready?

Your family portrait photos will be ready approximately 3 weeks after your photoshoot. But I always aim to get them to you as soon as possible. It may be a little longer between June-September as it is generally really busy during these months.

      Photo Album & Prints

I would strongly recommend having your photos printed whether in prints of into an album. This will become a lasting record and the photos will be enjoyed for generations to come. With ever changing technology its hard to know if you will be able to access images on a USB sticks 10 years down the line.
