As lockdown restrictions were lifted slightly I have been able to photograph some beautiful little families and a few new born shoots over the last few weeks, all outside and at a social distance of course. Which has been lovely as I have really missed photographing all the couples who have had to postpone their weddings and all the family shoots that couldn’t take place. So getting back to doing what I love best has been a real pleasure and very much welcomed. This gorgeous little boy was born at home in May, back when we had sunshine everyday. I was invited into the family garden where this beautiful little girl showed me around and told me about all the different flowers that were growing. She is super cute. Don’t they both co-ordinate well. I love this pretty flowery little dress and those tiny little dungarees!
Pretty much every family photoshoot I do there is always some sort of bribe to either get the children to smile at the camera, hold their baby sibling, not hide behind mummies legs, stop running off… the list goes on. Which is always fun. It’s all part of each and every little character. This little girl was full of smiles from the moment I met her and was rewarded with a particularly pretty marshmallow bunny lolly which she had saved from Easter.
