I met Tom and Kate at The Yorkshire Sculpture Park for their engagement shoot ahead of their wedding, this June at The Orangery in Settrington. We had the perfect day for their engagement shoot, the sculpture park was nice and quiet – almost like we had the whole place to ourselves, the bluebells were out and the sun was poking through the clouds.
Tom brought some smoke grenades along with him which were a lot of fun to play with. We found a spot in the woods to let them off as a practice run for the wedding day itself.
It was really lovely getting to know this wonderful couple and capture their picture. I hope they enjoyed it after the initial nerves of having their photos taken. I can’t wait to capture their special day for them in the early summer and play with some more smoke grenades.
