Back in April I went over to Paris to photograph this styled elopement in this super romantic city. So I just wanted to shout about the fact that this super PRETTY Parisian Elopement is being featured on 6 wonderfully glossy pages of the super stylish UNVEILED Magazine right now.
(If you haven’t got a copy yet you should go grab one) I’m a tad excited and super proud so wanted to share with you all. The magazine oozes wedding inspiration and every page is a feast for your eyes. A wedding planners guide for all those brides to be!
How the dream became a reality?
Well after having the initial idea back in January on a cold winters day (the sort of day where you dream about summer, beaches, warmth and not so dull days) I got in touch with Laura from Ambience, York and asked if she’d like to be onboard with the styling for a Parisian Photoshoot… I’ve worked with Laura on various different shoots and always love what she brings to the table (quite literally)… So I was so happy when she said YES to the Elopement Shoot!
So I started about planning the trip and slowly but surely the team started to grow. I got Francesca of Frenchie Loves Flowers to create beautiful flowers, bouquets and buttonholes – which looked so stunning. Fran was a star and took great care of the flower as she carried them all the way from her workshop in her garden in South Yorkshire, down to London on the train, over to France on the Eurostar and around Paris on the shoot days… Claire-Amelia of Bridal Emporium who’s based in Leeds Grand Arcade provided beautiful gowns from Eliza Jane Howell – Grace and Belle. Dominique of Poppy Pickering Cakes made a stunning 2 tier cake with rose gold and geometric shapes which totally complimented the styling and the flowers. I made some rose gold foil wedding stationery with torn edges on a soft lilac card at JB Creatives. Cheryl Marie Wright did the makeup and had Shannon did the hair and Bespoke Vintage Castle brought along some beautiful accessories. Bertie and Fred sent us some gorgeous hand dyed silk ribbons to use on the bouquet and everything came together.
Laura and Hana created a beautiful, romantic and stylish picnic setup for our elopement couple in the shade under a tree in Jardin des Tuileries. The colours were soft pastel shades with pinks, greens and a hint of lilac and rose gold. It was a lot of hard work but so worth it in the end. You can see some of these Parisian images on my website and in UNVEILED Magazine in Issue 10.
And theres more…
There were dreamy wedding dresses and gorgeous flowers,
stunning hair and makeup, bridal accessories and beautiful stationery…
I really was like a kid in a candy shop!
So when a copy of UNVEILED landed on my doorstep I was a little giddy to say the least.
