Coming up is one super pretty late summer evening engagement photography session taken on Ilkley Moor ~ apologies I’ve not updated the blog posts with wedding photography, engagement shoots or family photoshoot posts recently. Last year was a whirl wind of weddings, family portrait sessions and my busiest year for wedding stationery so I had very limited time to actually post anything on my websites. You should take a little look at my wedding stationery website if you’re not already familiar with it.
So first up in a while is Casey and Steven’s engagement photo shoot on Ilkley Moor. Like so many couples they have had to re-arrange their wedding date a couple of times and finally they will be getting married this March at Thicket Priory, I absolutely love this wedding venue so can’t wait to get back there to photograph their wedding day. You can see images I have previously shot at their stunning wedding venue here.
So I met Casey and Steven for the first time on their engagement shoot, it was really lovely getting to know this couple whilst taking their engagement photos. They travelled up from Sheffield for the shoot as Casey had said she’d like some heather in the photos. It wasn’t quite in full bloom but there were little bits of the purple heather dotted about which is what she’d wanted. We did the engagement session just before the sun was setting so had some really pretty light. It was also really quiet up on the Moor too, it was like we were the only people there which was nice.
Here are a selection of photos from their engagement session. I can’t wait to kick start the wedding session with their wedding day.
Oh and be sure to pop back as I hope to keep adding more posts to the blog!
