This was the Museum Gardens part 1 of Stephanie and Phil’s wedding back at the beginning of May 2021. This was my first wedding back after restrictions were lifted and couples we again allowed to get married with a small number of guests. So here they are on the ceremony part of their wedding. It was a little different in that I wasn’t allowed at the front of the church next to the vicar as Stephanie walked down the aisle. And although she had just been in the car and walked into the church with her dad, she wasn’t allowed to walk down the aisle with him. But at least she could do that on the second time round. I just spent a couple of hours with them to photograph the wedding ceremony and then some photos of the bride and groom in Museum Gardens, York after the church. They just had a small ceremony in a church close to Stephanie’s parents house with close family members. After the ceremony and a few group shots we headed to Museum Gardens in the centre of York for their couple photos. They wanted some photos in Museum Gardens and that had always been the plan, however the rain didn’t stop that day! Stephanie was certain she still wanted to get some photos in the gardens so we headed off to do that which was lovely.
Stephanie and Phil had a big celebration in September again after this wedding ceremony where they could invite friends and family that couldn’t attend the ceremony in May due to restrictions on numbers. They had another ceremony at the same church then headed over to Goldsborough Hall for their wedding reception. I will share those photos at a later date. Here are a few from the day.
