Kelly and Sam on their Yorkshire engagement shoot back in May just after lockdown restrictions were lifted. We met for a walk in the woods over near Otley and found a sea of super pretty wild garlic flowers. It looked so pretty and the smell was amazing. It was really lovely getting to know this couple on their engagement shoot ahead of their wedding day. Kelly and Sam told me they would be getting married on the 5th September no matter what. (… and heads up… they did!) It was a stunning wedding day. Yes they only had 28 guests, which now seems like loads, but it didn’t make their day any less special. But thats another blog post story to come.
These engagement shoots are very relaxed. It’s about you getting comfortable in front of the camera in preparation for your wedding day. The engagement shoots usually last around an hour and can be done where ever you choose. I am based in Yorkshire but love to travel. Some couples have their engagement session at their wedding venue, others pick a totally different location so that they have a different variety of photos. I’m going to start suggesting beach engagement shoots! How pretty would that be? Your engagement is a super special time and so capturing this chapter in your lives is a lovely record to look back and remember it.
